Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using the PitaPata mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are a parent or guardian agreeing on behalf of a minor, you confirm you have the authority to do so.

PitaPata is an educational learning application designed for children ages 3–18. The App allows users to scan textbook pages and generates AI-powered learning content including quizzes, stories, Brain Bites (short lessons), and curriculum-aligned learning paths.

A parent or guardian ("Parent") must create an account using a valid phone number. Parents may create up to 5 child profiles. Parents are responsible for all activity under their account and for ensuring their children use the App appropriately.

You agree to use the App only for lawful, educational purposes. You must not:

• Upload content that is inappropriate, offensive, or non-educational
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or interfere with the App
• Use the App for any commercial purpose without our written consent
• Share your account credentials with third parties

The learning content generated by AI is provided for personal educational use only. All App materials, including design, code, and branding, are the intellectual property of PitaPata and may not be reproduced without permission. Scanned textbook content remains the property of its original publishers.

The App offers tiered subscription plans. Free trial users receive limited daily scans. Paid plans offer additional features and higher usage limits. Subscription details and pricing are displayed within the App. Refunds are handled in accordance with the applicable app store policies.

Learning content is generated by artificial intelligence and is intended for educational purposes. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors. The App should be used as a supplementary learning tool, not a replacement for formal education.

We implement content filtering to ensure only appropriate educational material is processed. Inappropriate or non-educational content will be rejected. If you encounter any content concerns, please contact us immediately.

PitaPata is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding any claim.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of material changes through the App.
